Privacy Policy

Last updated May 23, 2026

This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service and we do not sell your personal data.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address (for sign-in and delivery) and optional Kindle email.
  • Preferences: topics, sources, schedule, timezone, language, and ranking settings you configure.
  • Engagement: which articles you open, read, save, or rate — used to personalize your ranking. Stored as feedback events tied to your account.
  • Content: publicly available articles from your sources, fetched and summarized to build your digest.
  • Operational: minimal logs and (if enabled) aggregate product analytics. We use a single first-party session cookie for sign-in — no third-party advertising cookies unless you are sent here from an ad campaign we are measuring.

How we use it

To deliver your digest, personalize ranking, operate and secure the Service, process payments, and communicate about your account. Personalization runs on your engagement; we do not use your data to train third-party models beyond what is needed to generate your summaries.

Sub-processors

We share data only as needed with providers that help run the Service:

  • Anthropic & OpenAI — generating summaries and embeddings;
  • Resend — email delivery;
  • Polar — payments (Merchant of Record);
  • Railway, Vercel, Cloudflare — hosting, database, and storage.

Each processes data under its own terms; we send them only what is necessary.

Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Fetched article content and feedback events are retained to power personalization and may be pruned periodically. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and associated records.

Your rights

You can access and export your data, correct your preferences, pause delivery, and delete your account at any time from Settings. To exercise any right or ask a question, email support@nodus.so. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR or similar laws.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced by email or in-app with a new “last updated” date.
